Operatives of the Inspector-General of Police Intelligence Response Team have arrested one of the four robbery suspects declared wanted for attacks on banks in Offa, Kwara State.

5 soldiers reportedly killed in Boko Haram ambush in Borno.
Five soldiers have reportedly lost their lives after suspected Boko Haram members hiding in an explosives-laden pickup trucks, rammed into their military convoy in Borno state yesterday April 27th.
President Buhari not present at the Jummat prayer in Aso Rock

Herdsmen invade professor Wole Soyinka's home for the second time.
Herdsmen have invaded the home of Nigerian writer, Prof. Wole Soyinka, and this will not be the first time such will happen. Last year, the Nobel laureate revealed that his home had been invaded by the herdsmen and hoped there will not be a repeat. Sadly, it's happened again.
