Minister of State for Aviation Hadi Sirika has ordered the suspension of three top officials of Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport, Abuja, over an incident involving Turkish Airlines at the airport.

The minister told  reporters in Abuja yesterday ,after listening to explanations by the airport officials on the incident which happened at about 11pm on December 24.

The duo - known only as Ma Fulai and his wife – have transformed the old pit into their special home, reports The People's Daily Online.They reportedly first moved into the 16-foot-deep well over 10 years ago, which is located minutes away from the university where they both work.

FG - Fuel scarcity caused by the sins of Jonathan's administration.

The Federal Government, on Monday, blamed the current petrol scarcity on the administration of former President Goodluck Jonathan which it accused of not making adequate provision for subsidy.

FG probes Aero’s use of ladder to disembark passengers

The Minister of State for  Aviation, Senator Hadi Sirika yesterday directed an immediate investigation into the use of ladder by Aero Contractors Airlines to disembark passengers on its chartered flight at the Bauchi Airport on Saturday.

Gov. Ambode moves to transform Ebute-Meta to tourist haven

Lagos State Governor, Mr. Akinwunmi Ambode on Monday unveiled plans to transform Ebute-Meta into a tourist haven by establishing a recreation park on the stretch of land overlooking the lagoon, adjacent to the Adekunle axis of the Third Mainland Bridge. The Governor, who said this during the commissioning of Ipaja-Ayobo and Ikotun-Ejigbo Roads as well as an inspection tour of on-going projects across the State, lamented the state of the piece of land which he described as an eye sore from the bridge.
