President Buhari not present at the Jummat prayer in Aso Rock
President Buhari was absent at the Jumaat prayer held at the presidential mosque in Aso Rock Abuja this afternoon. President Buhari had in the last two weeks prayed at the the mosque alongside some state governors and other government functionaries.

Herdsmen have invaded the home of Nigerian writer, Prof. Wole Soyinka, and this will not be the first time such will happen. Last year, the Nobel laureate revealed that his home had been invaded by the herdsmen and hoped there will not be a repeat. Sadly, it's happened again.

The Nigerian Veterinary Medical Association NMVA, is set to bestow a posthumous award on the dog that foiled mass killing by a female suicide bomber in Borno state on April 2nd. The dog attacked a female suicide bomber as she made an attempt to enter a wedding ceremony in Belbelu community , Jere local government area of Borno state.
